has anybody seen Gormiti? do you know what it is about? If you don't, I may have to entertain you. It's an Italian cartoon that tries so hard to be Anime and also seems to try too hard to be 90s cartoon because that's how bad it apparently is.

Not like anything I do does. nobody reads these. They prefer rapid fire updates on facebook every two hours. or less. I hate those douche nozzles.

Anyway, I'm still employed at Gamestop and JCPenney's. I enjoy making money. I do not like working long hours. Alas, I still need to do one to make the other happen. whatev. i'm gonna do me some Gormiti research.

I got Tekken 6. Thank you Gamestop, for your trade in deals and my discount. And for that Tekken 6 calendar. it's niiiiice. But still. Give me hours at work plzkthx.

It(the game) is awesome. You can download character packs off the website so I made an Alisa wallpaper for my needs. I find it very nice. they are gigantic highrez images, but hey! it's nice to get a picture 7500 pixels tall sometimes. Means they care. And they do, those are DETAILED.

About the game? Well, I got it for the PS3 because I don't like the 360 for fighting games and the PS controller is more my bag. It's still a good old fashioned fighting game. But there's more modes than most will be used to, and if you haven't played the older ones, I'd possibly do that first. Of course there is a very basic story recap from Tekken up till Tekken 6.

What will or maybe wont seem familiar is arcade. Arcade works different than in most fighting games. You wont be using it to unlock all the super fancy endings, it's more of a way to fight some battles and get some fight money. (which is a feature back from Tekken 5 but re-worked). Arcade mode in Tekken 5 was an unyielding battle against opponent after opponent with nicknames under the character name. A lot of the names were developer's name handlers. This is actually in Tekken 6 as ghost mode. You just fight "ghost enemies" and the hardest one is apparently named Nancy, and there's an achievement/trophy for defeating her.

There is still practice mode and time attack and all that good stuff, of course. Practice mode is good since every character usually has about 70-100 moves, and you can view them all, and even practice them on Mokujin right on the spot. No team battle like the good old days, but that's been gone for awhile. No Tekken Ball, that was lame. And Tekken force mode was an interesting yet lacking addon for Tekken 3, and it came back in a diffrent fully 3D manner for Tekken 5. But in Tekken 6, it's actually going to be the way you unlock endings, customize your characters, and generally spend just about all of your time.

Scenario mode stars Lars and Alisa. Lars is a defected rebel from the Mishima Zaibatsu. He found Alisa in a pod, a Jack went kablooie, he bonked his head, she booted up(oh, she's a robot BTW), and he was all "wtf who am I?". So you get to wander around with Amnesia with a hot robot lady flying behind you the whole time, all the while sporting a hairstyle that just screams "I put gel in my hair whilst in a wind tunnel."

You go freely from stage to stage. You fight a boss at the end. It's typical Tekken Force mode. Different from Tekken 5's though, since you aren't Jin, you can't turn into Devil, so there's really no jumping and climbing. Oh, and there's a wold map. And when you ARE fighting wave after wave of the same 10 or so people (mostly tanned shirtless musclemen, it seems), they drop eggs, chicks, chicken, bags of money, and random equippable loot depending on who you are playing as. The loot is usually a head accessory, top, bottom, shoes, waist, inner shirt, ect. After the tutorial you can choose not to use Lars, so you can collect loot for those characters as well. Alisa stays though. You can replay stages as much as you want. Lars will still be in the story progression cutscenes, but the start of the battle and at the boss you WILL be speaking through the character you are. Lee Chaolan is a bit of a douche, haha.

After the tutorial you also unlock Arena, which is basically story mode, only somehow more frustrating. It is very short. you fight 4 enemies. Three that directly have to do with the character, Jin being the last main one. Then you fight Azazel. He's a gigantic crystal dragon with a moveset that seems to be part Jinpachi, part Devil, part Gon, and all frustrating. Some of his moves, even if you hit him while he's doing it, will not stop him or cause damage. if you are impatient, I'd suggest getting a friend to do these. Also, you'll have to fight them as a boss in Scenario Mode to use them in Arena mode. So I'd suggest if you like it and don't want to unlock all the endings, just go to a friend's house or something, they might have it.

People complain a lot about the title, but I'm really enjoying it right now. I did really like 5, but I am enjoying the fact that it's actually on a current-gen console now, and the story is pretty decent to boot. Unlocking everything is maybe something reserved for that patient and die hard, but there's no characters to unlock from the get go, so Vs. mode is just peachy. And I heard there's a bit of online lag, but I've heard worse. If you're skeptical of the title, wait until the price goes down or something, or wait a few days. I've heard that a few whiny bitches returned it because they couldn't defeat Azazel. So there's a copy right there.

That's about it. It's the game I've been most excited about lately. If my coworker Patrick can be obsessed with Street Fighter, I can be obsessed with Tekken.

Bye!

We got air fresheners today. It smells like lavender and vanilla, the same scent as my shampoo.

Had to turn it down a bit, I'm not used to so much lavender.

Get to go out with Bryan's parents again! This'll be the third time I've met his father, second time I've met his mother.

We're thinking about where to take them. I think they wanna go to applebees or some such tonight. Mmm. Ribs. Gotta go clean a bit then, see y'all.

Dehydration have me a UTI, I've had it for a week now, it's kinda playing out like a tug of war. Each time I'm close to victory, it spreads up a bit higher when I sleep since a mix of dry air and me not drinking when I sleep seem to aggravate things.

Definitely think its in the bladder now. There was blood, but it paved the way for good ol, pus. Not to the kidneys yet! I think...! Not like last time. I got it last time because I was afraid to pee when I wasn't home. I'm stupid. That caused vomiting. Not there yet. Cloudy blood pee paid a visit of course though. and the chills. This is making my lower back feel awesome(/sarcasm). Having no computer chair does not alleviate this. Now that I think about it, the back pain is shifting a bit off the the left, but it started when I twisted funny. It feels more external than visceral, so its probably just my back, not the kidneys.

Don't think Bryan knows its going so up-and-down for me. He's fawning over me less because he thinks I feel better. I've been missing school but I cannot miss work, of course. My being ill has put a damper on school. I really want to take a break for two and a half months. I hope my parents will go for it. I'm ill and I gotta say, I don't have the drive.

Speaking of drive, if my father aids me in obtaining auto insurance in the future I will become the owner of a free vehicle. A gift from Bryan, it shall be his old '99 Grand Prix that's all shimmery and silver. Its more run down than it used to be since the knobs fell off the AC and we had to replace them with grand am ones off a junker, and somebody took out one of his tail light casings with a Toyota. Stereo is still stolen, leaving a hole with wires in it instead of uh. music. Despite the lack of him babying the car like he used to when he had money, and all the unfortunate things that keep befalling it, Trisha runs real great. It's way better than the first car I figured I'd get. the power windows and locks work. (mine probably would have neither work, or it wouldn't be power-anything...well, man powered.)And it doesnt leak fluids and have a door that only open from the inside or outside. XD A winner is me! And a winner is Bryan as well, for donating his car to me when he gets his instead of selling it.

Azo is kicking in, time to lay down again. Again.

I'm employed again! This time, at Gamestop. They can't promise me great pay, and they can't promise me great hours, but I can check out a game for four days at a time. That'll keep me concurrent. And most games kinda suck sometimes anyway, so four solid days of playing is all you need. And if I hate it, Bryan can just play it. He kinda likes games, if anybody remembers. I can always just go back to TES IV: Oblivion. I always play that. Or Fallout 3. Damn you, Bethesda Softworks, you're too good at keeping my attention.
I've got a lot of catch-up work to do, gotta finish my torso for my character model of Donovan Hoten and then work on his leggies. I also need to take a simplified version of said model and throw bones in it. then skin it. whoo. two classes though, unrelated. I also might do some character design sketches of the three Ds, Dillon Tenzio, Daison Crosta, and Donovan Hoten. But eh, I might just do Eve and Eli and some other twat too. I dunno.

At least I can buy my own food again soon. Maybe not up to the point of not needing my father to cover bills. I might only make a bit over the bill amount for the month, and SOME of that has to go to food. Either way, life will get marginally easier right now! Sounds good to me.

I'll be heading home to spend time with the parents and associated family members.

I haven't been home for 9 months so it will be nice.

Though I just KNOW it'll suddenly turn warm and beautiful when I head home. which I will hate. I'm going to try to see as few people as possible just like last time so I don't stress myself out making plans in the days I am going to be home. Which will be a range and duration of days I will not disclose unless specifically asked. Nobody from home save for my sister seems to read these journals though.

So I feel safe. I hate it when I sign onto myspace like.. once every 6 months and get those "wah wah. we didn't hang out" messages because I bothered to mention it somewhere. I am even less social than I used to be. large amounts of hanging out don't fly with me too much.

Though Beth, at least you know we'll hang out. Weather it be at your house or mom and dad's. so that's cool.

I'm 21 today.

At JCPenney's today, I made a tiny birthday hat out of register paper, tape, one of those markers to test legitimacy of dollar bills, and string from the defective merchandise tickets. It's cute.

See?

Tiny hat!

Bryan got me some games. I got FFXII: Revnant wings and Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's dungeon.
Played XII. so cute. we also got food. so good. And of course he loves me! so much. <3

I got a turkey. I was a bit late though. had to settle for a hefty 13lb turkey for just Bryan and I. We've got the stuff we need to have dinner though. HM. where are we going to eat it? D:

I just remembered, the dining table is actually my computer desk.

well, crap. I guess it's dinner on the coffee table. cats will LOVE that one. D:

Oh and work the morning after, 4am-2pm. I hate retail. I have to go to bed at like, 10. so much for drinking like, an entire bottle of wine.

I should do a thanksgiving food blog. Bryan might not enjoy it, but eh. I'm the one making dinner. Desserts are his bag.

I

got a job!

I'm back at JCpenny's again. But I'm not leaving for anything this time. I only left because I didn't want Bryan to drive very far and wait very long. But the new job(sex shop, Avant Guard II) was a mistake and then we had a gigantic economic downturn and terrible inflation.

But now! gas prices are down, and people are hiring for the holidays.

I am happy. I was worried, but now I can afford a thanksgiving dinner. :D And like. I can fix my bank accounts that Bank of America fucked up on and refuse to help me with. and pay off my JCPenny Credit card for that work clothing I bought that I still have like $20 to pay for left plus a million and five late fees. ah. life will be good. I think I'll get another GB of RAM for my computer. :D

I am still like.. stupid happy, almost. I'm still low on food of course though. So getting salmon steaks when I have fun money. Costco, ho!

I actually. hm. yeah.

I feel like drawing again. :D

sick
Missed nearly the whole first week of classes due to illness. if my throat isnt so inflamed that I can't breathe properly, congestion shows up to fix that. Been wheezing a lot and the congestion has been hurting my ears. Fever doesn't enjoy going away either. DayQuil is my friend to stop me from coughing temporarily, but I still wake up several times during the night and have crappy broken sleep. Bryan started getting sick too, but I made him take some medicine and drink some tea before he went to sleep and his fever has gone away. He's still congested. I feel bad, because I caught this from my grandfather when I was home, probably when we were chilling out on Saturday afternoon. It just turned out a bit worse than his illness, since he seems to be getting better now.

I'll be better by next week's classes. I hope. I kinda want to attend all of them this time.

Not in the emo way. After all this cooking, I FINALLY cut myself chopping onions. the knife was too small for the large onion and slipped. It bled a bit whenever pressure wasn't on it. Nothing that put off my lunch cooking more than a few mimutes. Somebody had to chop those onions. :O

Bryan jumped to fixing that shit like lightning though. I always fix up his injuries and he never really gets a chance to fix me since I don't seem to get injured a lot anymore. Suprisingly, I guess I'm not as clumsy.

I'm glad he's always there for me even for the little things. I have ointment and a tight bandage on it. It hasn't really bled through much. His speedy helpfulness makes me feel so special. And lucky. :D
